Niche and decorations

In the centre: niche framed by a painted door. The door has a decoration on the top in which djed pillars flank a Hatoric head and intertwined papyrus flowers. Inside the niche is the lower part of a sculptural group representing Menna and his bride. Around the niche: decorations on two registers with figures bearing offerings. These are wearing short wigs, a long transparent dress and white skirts. On the right: part of a scene from Psychostasia with enthroned Osiris, Horo and Thot. In the lower register: offertory bearers and altars. Left: the owners of the tomb, Menna and his wife, seated on chairs, receiving food offerings. The faces of the couple have been chiselled.
