Sarcophagus of Thutmosis III: Anubis and Duamutef

The sarcophagus is located in the burial chamber and is made of red quartzite. The long sides feature three deities, in this case Imseti and Duamutef, the sons of Horus, placed at the corners of the deceased, and Anubis in the centre. The yellow paint is reminiscent not only of the golden skin of the deities but also of the so-called Golden Chamber, the name generally used to indicate the burial chamber.
