Detail of the throne on which sits the ruler Amenhotep III, at whose court Khaemhat acted as Royal Scribe and Supervisor of the Royal Granaries. The throne has lion paws and a lion's head at the front leg (right). The armrest is decorated with the image of a sphinx with the head of Amenhotep III trampling an enemy. Between the legs of the throne are two prisoners, a Nubian (left) and an Asian (right) tied by the elbows and thus subdued.
