Amenhotep III with the Blue Crown (detail)

Detail of the figure of the ruler Amenhotep III, at whose court Khaemhat performed the function of Royal Scribe and Supervisor of the Royal Granaries. The king is depicted seated on a throne. On his head he has the so-called Blue Crown (Khepresh) with uraeus at the front. Around his neck he wears a shebyu collar and a broad breastplate. And visible is part of the Scourge, which the ruler holds in his right hand.
