Officials rewarded by Amenhotep III (detail)

Detail of the scene with Khaemhat (not visible) and royal officials bowing before Amenhotep III. These were rewarded by the ruler with gifts as a token of esteem. Here, some officials already rewarded with shebyu collars and scented ointment cones are depicted kneeling and with their hands raised in the direction of Amenhotep III, as a sign of veneration and respect.
