Detail of two guardians of the Book of the Dead

Detail of the guardians of one of the doors in chapter 144 of the Book of the Dead. On the left female guardian deity (lighter skinned) with a lion's head surmounted by two snakes and red dress holding a knife in the left hand and an ankh in the right. Next to it a male deity (darker skinned) with a human head and a false beard who also holds an ankh in each hand. They are the guardian and the messenger respectively.
