Among the portraits made by Ghezzi is that of the well-known Neapolitan preacher who was part of the Falconieri circle, the Dominican friar Rocco da Napoli, caught with shrewd irony in the moment when, presumably intent on spying on a conversation, he accidentally breaks a window pane with the pommel of his stick.
