Ginnasio-Cesareo

The Caesarean Gymnasium, built in a phase of profound renovation of the Hellenistic city, occupied three isolated interiors and its layout determined a regular arrangement of the area. In the early imperial age, the rooms distributed along the northern side were suppressed for the construction of the three-aisled basilica. Detail of the quadriporticus.
