A rock sanctuary, founded on a small plateau on the north-western slope of the Acropolis, a short distance from the terrace of the Myrtousa and outside the city walls. The sacred area has no monumental boundaries and is spread over several levels of the slope: a series of small natural caves, adapted for worship by man, marks its fulcrum, but other preparations indicate its extensive extension.
