Diana and Actaeon

The Zuccari brothers, after having frescoed themes almost obligatory for a cardinal's house, decorate the other rooms with less demanding subjects, related to nature, such as the frescoes of the seasons and the delightful palaces with ruins, or to mythology. Stories of the gods are also privileged. In this scene we have Actaeon transformed by Diana into a stag.
