Venus and Cupid

The Zuccari brothers, after having frescoed themes almost obligatory for a cardinal's house, decorate the other rooms with less demanding subjects, related to nature, such as the frescoes of the seasons and the delightful palaces with ruins, or to mythology. Stories of divinities are also privileged. In this fresco we see Venus and Cupid immersed in a verdant landscape.
