Fresco depicting the siege of a city. In particular the flight of some citizens and their fear; all in shades of grey. The decoration of the Farnese palace was carried out by a master painter (of Raphaelesque culture) akin to the circle of Baldassare Peruzzi. Often the frescoes subtend to praise the Farnese family.
