House of Pinarius Cerialis. Cubicle. Fresco with Iphigenia

Wall of the Cubiculum frescoed in the IV style Shows a faux marble base with coloured and painted tesserae and in the upper part one can see, framed against an architectural background with gable frieze columns, acroteria in the form of centaurs and sirens. In the centre is a panel with Iphigenia leaving the Temple of Artemis in Tauride. She carries the idol of the goddess on the left and the prophetic net on the right. On the right side are the two brothers Orestes and Pylades
