Bronze tripod with Satyrs

An object that became famous during the 1700s and, thanks to Piranesi, who reproduced it, used as a model for neoclassical objects. The central structure is supported by three figures of young ityphallic satyrs raising their hands in an apotropaic gesture. It has recently been attributed to the Capua school, which produced vases and furniture in the imperial age.
