Decorative panel forming part of a unique pair in terms of technique. It is thought to belong to the decoration of a piece of furniture. It depicts the Dionysian cycle, in particular the moment when Dionysus appears to the sleeping Ariadne, accompanied by a Satyr and Cupid.
