Bronze statue of Apollo the Citharist

Bronze statue of Apollo with zither, hence the name of the house in which it was found. The statue is a copy of an original from the mid-5th century BC. The god was clutching a zither in his left hand, now lost, while in his right hand he still has a plectrum. The elaborate hairstyle of the hair is remarkable.
