Drawing by Giovanni Boldini of the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna. Built to glorify the pontificate of Pius IV, it features various characters: at the base 4 Nereids, higher up 4 putti holding 4 dolphins (personifications of the rivers) and finally the majestic Neptune.
