On the front is a miniature depicting the procession of the acheropite image of the Holy Saviour from the Sancta Sanctorum of the Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva to the Vatican Basilica. The frame depicts some acts from the pontiff's life and some views of Rome in relation to architectural works carried out under Pope Albani's pontificate. On the back, a scroll depicting the crucifix and thirteen medallions with the Virgin and the Twelve Apostles.
