Amduat: the kingdom of Sokar

Amduat Fifth hour Above. The ground rises forming a hollow mound. Above it is the head of a woman. Left and right seven gods who are towing the boat of Ra. Below. The land of Sokar, immediately below the mound of earth, has the form of an oval island the river of the Duat and lies upon the bodies of two man-headed lion sphinxes, at each end of the oval. Inside the oval is a huge serpent with three heads at one end and a human head at the other one. Above it stand a hawk-headed god between two wings. Figures and texts are done in a cursive fashion imitating funerary papyrus.
